Missouri Valley Community Action Agency (MVCAA) is looking for a caring and dedicated Early Head Start (EHS) Support Teacher to join our team! In this role, you’ll provide a nurturing learning environment for children from birth to three years old, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and physically. If you're passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact in your community, we want to hear from you!


What You’ll Do:

âś” Assist in creating a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
âś” Support early childhood development through play, structured activities, and learning centers
âś” Promote early language, literacy, and social-emotional development
âś” Maintain supervision and ensure child safety at all times
âś” Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including fire and emergency procedures
âś” Observe and document child progress through assessments and records
âś” Build strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners
âś” Participate in ongoing training and professional development


What We’re Looking For:

âś… Required: High School Diploma or GED
âś… Preferred: CDA credential (or willingness to obtain within 2 years) or higher education in early childhood development
âś… Ability to lift and keep up with young children, including sitting on the floor or in child-sized chairs
âś… Strong communication and organizational skills
âś… Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
âś… Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork
